My 4K TV cost me around $1500 Canadian for a 60″. If you upgrade your Netflix account all new Netflix produced content is available in 4K, as well as some content from last year, and a lot of the movies have been remastered in 4K. A lot of what we watch now is in 4K. There is a lot more 4K content available than I realized when I bought the 4K TV.

Depending how far you sit from your TV though, even at 60″, the difference may be impossible to see by the human eye. I preordered Deadpool in 4K even though I don’t have a 4K TV. I’ve seen 4K TVs for as low as $400 now.
