After watching this trailer I finally realized what “Ghost in the Shell” really means, (forgive me, I never saw the original) although “Ghost in the Machine” seems like a better description, but that might already have been taken. It was when someone said that she was supposed to have a clear mind, that I realized that they used a human brain in a cybernetic machine body (the shell), but the dead woman’s brain unintentionally retained the original personality and fragments of memory (the ghost) … the ghost in the machine or shell if you will.
Am I right?
