The December release of EVE Online was released on December 8th, kicking off EVE’s “Operation Frostline” holiday event, releasing major new graphical damage effects and audio effects, introducing a heavy amount of module tiericide, and renaming many other modules. Thirteen new ships have been added, including an Ice Mining Frigate, Command Destroyers, and Logistics Frigates. Another major change is a massive increase in the size of ‘grids’ in space to accommodate Citadels and large fights. Additionally, a large number of additional SKINs have been added. Three revisions to the patch have also been released since the 8th with additional fixes.
