One of the questions we’ve asked ourselves from time to time is how we should deliver additional audio content, if we want to record an additional episode or a short segment outside of our normal band of episodes. Either because we want to go into something more in depth than the show’s format normally allows, or we want to hear from someone unavailable during our regular recording times.
We’ve decided on a format, and it’s called Biomassed Spotlights. Spotlights will be audio segments recorded separately from the main show, but delivered via our podcast’s feed, and of course, posted here as well. They’ll be more targeted than our regular show, usually shorter, and we’ll make sure the title and description clearly highlights what the Spotlight is about, and the fact that it’s not part of our regular show. If you’re interested, have a listen; if not, don’t. We’re going to start this out with a game review, but we may also do in-depth mechanics segments, interviews, or even chatting about a movie. (Eyeballing the Deadpool movie now for an extra-lengthy Spotlight.)
But this is going to be a new format for us, and we welcome your feedback on the format and the content of our Spotlights, as we welcome feedback about all of the content we create on a regular basis.
